Reneé’s new character isn’t bad at all, and Reneé is Bisexual as in the movie, she kissed 2 males. Anyways her new style is in a different “universe” than our actual world, and maybe shein (where many of the costumes came from) is a designer brand. I didn’t hate the new one, and anyways I liked her leather outfit during her intro. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hmm I don't really like the reasoning of this regina george being gay for her to dress so drastically different from the og regina. I know lots of gay girls who dress and act like og regina and are still very much gay. But I do understand wanting to have your own style sense and self expression as a gay person- now that's a better reason than just her being gay.

imo the issue isn’t the lack of hyperfemininity (ie switching to darker colors + pants), or the fact that things are dupes, it’s the fact that her outfits LOOK cheap. there’s no way THAT top isnt on shein, her clothes all seem to be made of super cheap materials (especially the leather outfit), the ELF- (chisom has a great video on this btw). regina was *never* meant to represent teenagers, she was meant to be an ideal, unattainable standard/concept. that’s why (to me) the arguments of dressing her in fast fashion/cheap clothes bc it’s realistic/modern/what girls who are mean wear nowadays don’t hit for me
